Frequently Asked Questions by Property Owners

Do I need special insurance to list my home as a rental?

Yes, we require maintaining the industry standard coverage, which includes comprehensive general public liability insurance covering any and all claims or demands arising out of the operating, renting, or maintenance of the property in the suggested amount of $1,000,000 and property insurance for the replacement cost of the real and personal property.

Will you check on my property during vacant periods?

Each vacation rental will get a weekly inspection. We will do a free property walk-through if the property is unoccupied for more than two weeks.

How do you handle emergency repairs?

Your initial sign-up with Cadet Hotels and Hospitality includes a Maintenance Reserve Deposit that covers minor repairs and services. However, for any significant repairs, the property owner will be informed and remedies and repair costs will be discussed.

How do you communicate with guests?

We employ a variety of methods for guest communications. Our guests may contact a Cadet Hotels and Hospitality staff member 24/7, 365 days over the phone (407) 735-6535, via email [email protected]

What facilities am I required to have in my home?

When renting a home for a holiday, guests anticipate that it will be completely furnished. This includes electronics, kitchen utensils, glasses, dinnerware, the internet, television, etc. We are happy to collaborate with you to make sure that all required facilities are available.

How will I evaluate my property’s performance and activities?

Our unique owner dashboard allows you to review results from your properties, any day, anytime. We will also send a monthly report (Owner’s Statement) to your email and to the owner portal.
